Samsung Galaxy M Pro B7800

The Samsung Galaxy M Pro is a mid-range Android smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard. The M in the name forms part of Samsung's new smartphone naming convention, which consists of five categories: S (Super Smart) is for the very high-end smartphones, R (Refined) is for high-end, W (Wonder) is for upper mid-range, M (Magical) is for mid-range smartphones and Y (Young) is for entry level smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy M Pro is an Android smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.66 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen that can be used in both landscape and portrait modes. It also features an optical trackpad. The design of this handset is very familiar to the BlackBerry models and taking into consideration the dimensions and weight of the phone, lightweight and very comfortable to use, it is a great alternative.

It features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus that supports video recording capability too. Users can get up to 2592x1944 pixel resolution photos, which eliminates the need to carry a separate camera. A stereo FM radio with RDS is included and there's a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity-wise, as you'd expect the Samsung Galaxy M Pro has 3G, HSDPA, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS.

With Flash support, Android smartphones offer compatibility with more web sites. The 2.66 inch display is quite small compared to non-QWERTY smartphones but web pages can be zoomed for easy viewing. Overall the Galaxy M Pro is an excellent Android alternative to a mid-range BlackBerry.
