Samsung Blue Earth S7550

The Samsung Blue Earth is a solar power eco-friendly phone that encourages and promotes green thinking. It is made from recycled or eco-friendly materials and packaged in a reusable box, made from recycled paper. It comes with a low power charger and the phone also has solar panels for charging. There are several eco-applications installed including a step counter that calculates how much CO2 might have been released if you had drove instead of walked. There is also an Eco Day calendar, which notifies you of environment-related dates from around the world.

The phone has a 3 inch capacitive touchscreen, with accelerometer. The screen has a power-saving, eco mode, which extends battery life but can make the screens visibility poor under bright light. There's a 1080mAh battery, which can be charged in the usual way or by placing the phone in sunlight. Connectivity options are all there with HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth and USB. The 3.15 megapixel camera has smile detection and video record at 30 frames per second. Other features of the Samsung Blue Earth include an FM radio, media player, music recognition service, expandable memory and video calling.
